10-Year Orthopedic Support Warranty

Furlio™ orthopedic dog beds are built to provide long-lasting comfort and support for large and aging dogs. We stand behind the quality of our orthopedic foam with a 10-Year Orthopedic Support Warranty.

This warranty covers the flat orthopedic foam sleeping surface against significant loss of support under normal household use. If the foam develops a permanent indentation greater than 2 inches within 10 years of the original purchase date, we will provide a one-time replacement of the foam mattress at no charge.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It covers the orthopedic foam mattress only and does not apply to the outer cover, waterproof liner, bolsters, zippers, stitching, or other fabric components.

Replacement foam provided under this warranty does not restart or extend the original 10-year warranty period.

To start a warranty claim, please contact us at support@furliopet.com with your order number, photos of the bed, and a brief description of the issue. We may require the bed or foam mattress to be returned for inspection before approving a replacement.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Some types of damage are outside the scope of this warranty. The Furlio™ warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear to the outer cover, waterproof liner, zipper, stitching, bolsters, or foam.
  • Damage caused by chewing, scratching, digging, ripping, tearing, or destructive behavior.
  • Foam or fabric damaged by urine, feces, vomit, saliva, bodily fluids, stains, strong odors, moisture, mold, or improper cleaning.
  • Foam that has been washed, soaked, placed in a dryer, exposed to artificial heat, or used while wet.
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, outdoor use, commercial use, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Minor softening or natural changes in foam feel over time that do not affect the bed’s overall support.
  • Damage caused during unpacking, including cuts made while opening the packaging.

Preparing Your Furlio™ Bed for Use

Your Furlio™ bed is compressed and vacuum-packed for shipping. After delivery, carefully remove the bed from the box and gently open the plastic packaging.

Please open the package carefully to avoid damaging the cover, liner, or foam mattress. Do not cut deeply into the packaging, and keep sharp tools away from the bed itself.

Once unpacked, place the bed in a clean, dry, well-ventilated room and allow the foam to expand. Depending on room temperature, foam density, and compression time during shipping, the bed may take 12–24 hours to regain its full shape and thickness.

It is normal for the foam to look slightly uneven or compressed immediately after unpacking. Please allow enough time for the bed to fully expand before evaluating its final size or shape.

Upon delivery, inspect your bed carefully. If you notice any shipping damage, please contact us at support@furliopet.com within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the issue.

If your dog does not use the bed right away, try placing a familiar blanket, toy, or lightly worn shirt on the bed. Familiar scents can help your dog feel more comfortable. Some dogs adjust immediately, while others may need several days or weeks to get used to a new bed.

Washing Instructions and General Care

For light dirt or small spots, spot clean the outer cover with mild soap and cold water.

For deeper cleaning, remove the outer cover and machine wash it separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergent only. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals. Air drying is recommended, or tumble dry on low heat if the care label allows.

The waterproof liner is designed to help protect the foam from everyday accidents and spills. If cleaning is needed, wipe it with a damp cloth or wash gently in cold water if permitted by the care label. Always air dry the waterproof liner completely before placing it back on the foam.

The foam mattress itself should never be washed, soaked, or placed in a dryer.

Important Foam Care Notes

Please follow these care instructions to protect the life and support of your Furlio™ orthopedic foam:

  • Do not wash the foam mattress.
  • Do not soak or get the foam mattress wet.
  • Do not place the foam mattress in a washing machine or dryer.
  • Do not use a hair dryer, heater, iron, or any artificial heat source on the foam.
  • Do not store or use the foam while damp.
  • Do not place the foam mattress under direct sunlight for extended periods, as strong sun exposure may cause oxidation and reduce foam durability.
